Woven in Kanchipuram

Every Prahla saree begins on a pit loom, where a weaver joins body and border by hand โ€” the korvai join that only a Kanjivaram has. It takes ten to fifteen days per saree. We buy direct from the family that wove it.

How do I care for a pure silk saree?

Dry clean only. Store folded in a cotton or muslin wrap and refold every few months so the zari does not crease along one line.

Is the blouse stitched?

Every saree ships with an unstitched blouse piece, usually 0.8 m, in matching or contrast fabric as listed on the product page.

How long does delivery take?

Metros in 2โ€“4 working days, rest of India in 4โ€“7. International orders ship by DHL in 7โ€“12 working days with tracking.

Can I return a saree?

Yes, within 7 days of delivery if unworn with tags intact. Start a return from your order page and we arrange pickup.

Do you offer cash on delivery?

COD is available across India up to โ‚น10,000 per order. Prepaid orders get an extra 5% off with code PREPAID5.
